Terms and Conditions:
Certified pre-owned devices – come with a 90 days warranty. Within this period, should there be an issue, we will either fix the device or replace it. After the 90 days – we will still assist you however this will be at your own cost. Brand new devices – have a 12 months warranty. Devices that show physical and liquid damage will not fall under the warranty. All repairs carry a 3 month warranty. Should any of our devices be taken to a 3rd party to be fixed, the warranty automatically falls off. Should a full refund be approved, Techno Cafe will need to first receive the device and inspect it before any monies are paid back.
1. Please refer to 30 Point Checklist for all functions as we will not be held liable for any unknown faults. If the function was working please show logger proof before booking in.
2. No old spares will be given back to customer, it will be sent back to their supplier.
3. Repairs under R400 will be undertaken without permission.
4. All phones that are water resistant will no longer be water resistant after being repaired.
5. All small parts come with a 3 months warranty.
6. All LCD replacements come with a year`s warranty.
7. Should any of our devices be taken to a 3rd party to be fixed, all warranties automatically fall off.
8. We will not be held liable for any damages or missing parts that were previously repaired by other repair centres.
9. We will not be held liable for blocked or blacklisted phones.
10. Water damaged phones carry no guarantee.
11. We are not responsible for unknown faults eg. dead phones with physical or liquid damage while being repaired.
12. We will not be held liable for any phones due to theft or fire.
13. Guarantee is void if seal is removed or damaged.
14. No cash refunds. (there`s a contradiction here)
15. Should a full refund be approved, Apple Café will need to first receive the device and inspect it before any monies are paid back.
16. Phones not collected within 30 days will be sold to defray expenses.
17. Phones that have multiple faults will be a separate charge for quotation
18. We charge by fault and repair only what is quoted for.
19. All tempered glass and screen protectors will be removed during the repair process.
20. Upon approval of the quotation customer cannot decline quote once agreed.
21. Customers must accept belongings that are not required for the repair as we will not be held liable
22. If device requires software, all data will be lost as it is the customers ‘responsibility to back up all data before booking it in.
23. The time quoted is without delay, if the technician requires more time we will notify you.
24. This transaction is payable on a C.O.D basis upon collection of device.
25. Payment is only accepted in the form of cash, credit or debit cards; no cheques accepted.
